what is the meaning of patience?
is it waiting for the doctor at his clinic till he calls you?
is it sitting with your child who cries for candy, which is forbidden?
is it waiting for a guest who is very late to arrive?
is it listening to a long lecture of a speaker, who holds on to the microphone never to leave it?
is it taking care of the mother who is bedridden?
the one who overcomes all this is not a man but God!
dear mami, this was a nice introspection :) what you say is so true - we take so many words at face-value and a simple word like patience means so much - calmness, forebearance, tenacity, bearing hardship and so on
